Lying in wait: Merlin lies in the doorway apparently asleep, but secretly awaiting his 'prey'. Unaware of the trap the kitten wanders through the doorway. In a flash Merlin's paw reaches out and ensnares the kitten and pulls it in. Before the kitten knows what is happening it is being covered with kisses and snuggled with. Soon the kittens don't wait to be 'trapped'. They start seeking out Merlin and head butting him until he gives them kisses.

The Couple: Cinderella and Aragorn are often found sleeping together. The bathroom sink is a favorite spot. Since they are both longhair white cats they fill it with a big white ball of fur. As most couples they sometimes have disagreements. Once they were snuggled up in a chair, Cinderella against the back and Aragorn in front of her. All of a sudden she started talking, biting his ear and hitting him on the head. Aragorn didn't seem to pay much attention except to reposition himself and the abuse stopped as quickly as it started.  Perhaps Cinderella was saying "You're on my arm, move!" and he did.
