the All Breed competition required for Grand Champion. Grand Champion
also requires 16 winner's ribbons. He received 8, the maximum possible,
in this show. We are hoping for the other 8 winner's
ribbons at the show in Allentown, PA in April.
Congratulations go to Storm and his breeder Debbie Garcia-Bengochea of

| ACFA Annual Fargo ND August 19-20, 2006 |
This was the Annual Awards Banquet and show. The competition was VERY tough with most of last years top 20 cats there. We came home with just professional pictures, no ribbons. This was Storms first airplane ride. He flew in the cabin with me and slept through the whole thing after some initial asking to be let out. We got lots of attention walking though the airport. Storm doesn't like to be carried and his 'complaints' drew lots of looks. I could tell the people recognized the sound, but because they were in an airport they were mentally searching for another explanation. Children, especially little girls, wanted to see and pet him. Women that looked at him often followed up with telling me about their cat(s) at home. |
| Kentuckian Cat Fanciers Louisville, KY September 2-3, 2006 |
This was another very tough show. We came home with just one ribbon, a Fourth Best Short Hair. Storm started his show career as a four month old kitten at this show in 2005. Some of the other folks at the show remembered him. |
